Recruiting Class--REALLY!!

There are three players that I don't think anyone had seen, one of whom (Gary Wright) looks like he might be pretty good.

Bojicic is an OL, so we have two in this class.
We have only one redshirt freshman. So three OL in two years. That's not good.
And Woodridge is 5'9", 190lbs and we are putting him at LB? Are you kidding me?

another one: It's Wooldridge, not Woodridge. Both scouting services and the PD ( http://www.cleveland.com/hssports/wide/ ... s0207.html ) have his name with an 'L' in it.Dayons_Den wrote:Kevin Alvarado- someone might want to fix his bio- East Chicago is in fact in Indiana, not Illinois.

It was indicated in another thread that Summers may not sign anywhere today. He is listed as "verballed" to Louisville on ESPN, but I think that Louisville offer is off the table and he is not shown on Miami's list. I think we still have a shot at this kid.falconboy wrote:So I guess we didn't land the Summers kid

I believe he'll get us through the night.orangeandbrown wrote:There are three players that I don't think anyone had seen, one of whom (Gary Wright) looks like he might be pretty good.

Overall I like the looks of the class. Nate Brown gives it a crown jewel, glad to see that he chose to come here. I hear Warthog's complaints about lack of OL, and they are valid, but as long as all the kids we have in the system currently (now) develop and stick around I think we'll be okay, although we'll likely need at least 3-4 in next year's class.
FWIW, Nate Brown becomes the most highly touted of our QBs in recent years. Harris was thought of as a DB. Jacobs & Turner were both ranked #70 in their class...Brown is #54 from scout.com I just watched his video and it looks pretty good. Unfortunately all they have is 7-on-7 drills from a camp. From what I saw the guy is HUGE and RIPPED. He looks to have a good arm and all the throws they showed hit guys right on the money. Still, it's a highlight video so take it FWIW.
The question will continue to be can our staff develop this talent and put them in positions to succeed. We've struggled with that in recent years, but there looks to be some good, raw talent here.

They must have updated it because mine does not say RB/DB and it has his name incorrect.orangeandbrown wrote:Really? I am holding it in my hand right now. Did you click the little .pdf button?
