But I was one of those people... I think. This team played much better against weaker competition - ture. And I was on board for that. Confidence, etc. Did that translate into good - nay, respectable - conference play? No. I thought it would. I was wrong. Zippitiy doo da, pass the bugs. IMO, this team is getting worse. And I'm a Coach D guy. But the buck stops somewhere, and I don't think it's Warthog's faut (yet).
Argh....

I'm a stand up guy. I'll take the fall. It's my fault. As soon as we win a game, I'll stop pointing out how stupid our starting line-up changes and substitution rotations are.JWEIII wrote: But the buck stops somewhere, and I don't think it's Warthog's faut (yet).
I didn't hear the first half. Did Polk make it to the first media TO before heading to the bus because his night was done?

EMU is the only game I think we will win. Morehead was a possibility, but that performance on the road tonight makes me think that won't happen.Falconfreak90 wrote:Very ugly loss, to say the least. BG has 6 games left. IMO, they'll win 2, at the most. EMU and Buffalo. I don't see this team beating OH, Akron, Kent or Miami. I'm frustrated as hell with the program anymore.

Polk got 16 minutes, Clements got 30. 13 players had 5 or more minutes.
We outfouled them 26-16. Maybe fouling so much is actually part of our gameplan. I don't know how else it could be so consistent.

"Regarding BGSU, I would think their biggest strength is that they never give up, They never slow down and they battle hard even after the other team scores. We have to be on our game and never, ever take the foot off the gas for a second."

"BG was relentless. It's like they know that a good first pass on the breakout from a defenseman will almost always result in an odd-man rush against them - but they go in anyway and dare you to make that pass. All three of their goals were just grit and effort. That's a team any fan can be proud to support...they give all they've got."
