This team can win the MAC if AT just comes close to a Josh Harris/Omar Jacobs type season.
I wouldn't put the over/under very high on AT starting at QB this year, thats just my take.
You mean over/under on the number of Turner starts??

I'll eat a bug if AT is not our QB (barring injury) for the entire 2007 season. I expect him to have a big year.

While you continue to jump on AT lets look at another QB's stats, one who many didn't think would be the starter coming out last spring, and didn't get the starting job until July. This would be UK's Andre Woodson.
Year Yards TDs %complete\
2005 1644 6 57.7
2006 3515 31 63

Give the guy a break. Many qb's have had less than stellar 1st years. In fact it is pretty rare to see a QB have such a great first season like Omar did. Let him develop without being such a dick all the time.

What year was said UK QB? I don't have alot of hope for a guy who in his 3rdseason in the program still seemed like he was still in HS. I'm sorry , IMHO I don't think AT will be starting nor do I think he should be unless a Jeckell/Hyde like turnaround occurs which is unlikely to happen all of a sudden.

I got the impression from Brandon that we weren't going to see Boise this year. Anyone else there get the same impression?

You were pretty easy to spot at the program last night.

Gorgeous looking babe hanging off the good arm but what really gave you away was the ax stuck in the front of the boot and the right arm dangling from the chainsaw attached to the side.

No way...it was that handsome azz.com long sleeve tee that was the give away. Good call on the babe...she said "It was nice of coach Brandon to talk to us for little bit"

I told her I was pretty sure he was talking to her :-)

RS Jr. So basically one year ahead of AT (2003 RS; 2004, semi played; 2005, started and sucked; 2006, started and was one of the best in the sec). Wow!! His 3rd season in the system he struggled. That would be the same as AT. Hmm. AT has been the starter for one year I think he should be given a chance to show if he made this improvement. For some reason it always seems like you hold an opinion that in the light of sound evidence more often resembles a steaming pile of dog s**t. Give the guy a break, better yet at least give him some respect when you write your negative crap.

OK, I wasn't going to say anything until the actual schedule comes out, but I have what could be called an "impeccable" source who told me that Boise is NOT coming here...supposedly ESPN or someone else thinks they're pretty hot right now and offered them a deal....something like that anyway. Why don't we wait til the real schedule DOES come out however, before jumping off a bridge. 8)

Although this thread turned into a schedule thread, is anyone else exicted about having a fat kicker? 6'1 - 260??? Maybe he will be good luck and inflict some type of revenge on CMU.

I'm just really made up to hear the upbeat news about this year's class. I don't know, maybe its beacuase I am at the end of a long arm, but for a few dark days in January I found myself thinking, "what if nobody signed for BGSU" this year? Stupid to imagine, I know, but sports fans will be sports fans.
