FWIW, supply chain management is what Ali Mann is majoring in as well... she also received academic honors... hmmmmmmmmFlipper wrote:Kids like Matt Lefeld are one of the things that's right in college athletics.
Congratulations Matt...supply chain management sounds a little esoteric for a major...almost like majoring in left handed Elizabethian poetry.

That's right. Make fun of left handed Elizebethian poetry majors. Take the cheap shot! Granted, I'm not able to find a job in the field right now but it'll happen...Flipper wrote:Kids like Matt Lefeld are one of the things that's right in college athletics.

Old school version of "Supply Chain Management" is Purchasing. You'd think the accountants would come up with a fancy name too so they wouldn't just be considered bean counters.
BTW, I have an accounting degree so it is politically acceptable for me to make jokes like that.

Say what you will about SCM, but Matt and Ali will each be making more than all of us combined three weeks before they graduate. BGSU has an excellent SCM program and our grads are highly coveted nationally. For these two athletes to earn national recognition for their excellence in this already nationally recognized program speaks VOLUMES about them!
Congrats to the BOTH!
