Anyone here watch the game? I watched almost the whole game hoping for a mention about BGSU. In the 2nd half, ESPN starts running down the "impressive list of ranked teams Duke has beaten". They talk about how Duke dominated all these teams like Rutgers, Texas and Vandy and not ONE freakin mention of the BG game. Excuse me...BGSU is ranked in the TOP 20...and should be Top 10, IMO>

Not to mention BG has played Duke closer than anyone not named Tennessee, after leading in the 2nd half.

I was ticked. I know the women and Coach Miller were watching that game last night and it lights yet another fire to burn thru the rest of the teams on the sked. I thought it was disrespectful. But then again, this is the MAC. Happens all the time.

Duke is an impressive team, but watching the game last night, I realized something. We are pretty much Duke minus Allison Bales. Both teams are built around clutch shooting, guard penetration, 3-point shooting, and incredible defense.

IMO, if Liz Honegger were 6 foot 6, we'd be a legitimate top 5 team.

I DID watch the 2nd half and saw that blurb you were referring to...."Duke has beaten (blank) number of ranked teams"etc. Inference was the closest game they had was against Tenn.; no mention of the BG game etc. Can't recall the score of their game against Tenn., but I'd bet it was around the same margin of victory that our game was.

That is an excellent point, J4H. Bales is simply too tall for anyone to shoot over her. ESPN raved about her shot bocking ability. No duh. Who else has a 6'7" center in women's hoops? Maybe one or two other teams in the nation? I don't know. Duke is impressive....but so is BGSU!

That Duke PG has some SWEET moves going to the rim. I was way impressed with her.

That was it! Duke beat Tenn 74-70 in Knoxville.

No mention of BG was BS.
