Speaking of which, I hope the student section is prepared for an invasion of scUM fans.

List of cheers should include (but not limited to):

1. Something to drown out the unnecessarily long goal count (if necessary)
2. Something to counter "Let's go blue" (God I hate that cheer)

Well, I was hoping to make another sign for this game, but I'm clueless as to who I should pick on. The only names I know are Johnson, Sauer and Hensick. Plus, none of their mother's names are listed on their player profiles. What's an obnoxious fan to do?

I figure anything referring to them as the weasels might be OK, but I don't know where to start.
Any help here?

Make 5 signs, one for each quote below:

"HENSICK" "IS" "A" "..." "BAD PERSON"

That'd be my pick. Get EVERYBODY involved. Might have to move some people to Section A to get them in on it. He loves to handle the puck and does so very well. Anything to get in his head will help.

If you can get some students to move to Section A, might be able to get the old cross ice BG-SU chant going. Been a long time since that happened.

It has actually only been since the beginning of this season since it happened. I believe it was at the very first or second regular season game. I remember telling everyone in the corner we were gonna yell BG, then when we did everyone on that side of the arena did too. It was one of the few glorious moments of this season. Tonight was another of those glrious moments. I feel all warm and fuzzy every time we beat a blue and yellow team. 8)

I am a fan of all falcon athletic teams, have been ever since I came to BGSU. I don't discriminate between any teams, they all get my tuition money and my support. I go to football, basketball, hockey games, even got out to some volleyball matches and saw the cross country team a few times this season. However, if one team goes really bad, which the hockey team clearly is this year, you seem to think that it isn't right for me to point out this as such, as if I'm infringing on what everybody else thinks. I don't see this as such.

Why don't you care about Football or Women's Basketball? You're missing out on the greatest sport in America, falcon style, and the best team that BG has to offer.
Don't act like you're vastly superior to me because you're a football fan and manage to attend the occasional women's basketball game because the team is ranked (and is 19th in the RPI as of this morning). And don't come on here saying you support ALL BG sports. Twenty bucks says you haven't been to a swim meet this year. Or gymnastics. Or tennis. Probably not soccer, either. I find it ironic when people claim to be fans of 'all' Falcons sports and by that mean that they will grace a ranked women's basketball team with their presence. For many, 'all' seems to mean they attended something other than football once.

I don't recall you coming on here and saying the hockey team is really bad... it was more like the team totally sucks and you were sick of it and you are boycotting!! Because they're so terrible they don't deserve your support. And you have the gall to call me a bad Falcon fan when most of what I've said is neutral.

And to address your last point, I don't care about football and basketball because I hate those sports. Not Bowling Green's offerings in them: the actual sports themselves. I do not agree with you that football is the best sport in America; in my eyes, that would be hockey. Followed by swimming and baseball.

TG, when a team is 5-24-2 and is only winning 17% of its games, I think its perfectly legal to bash the heck out of them, regardless of who it is. You may not like that, I know you aren't the only one on here who hates it, but I'm simply calling things the way I see them.

I'm just going to leave it at that because I'm not interested in hijacking this thread. Hopefully we'll see another good game tonight and we won't get our brains beaten in.
Why in God's name would I? I don't care for either sport, so instead of going on there to tell everyone they're idiots for having faith, I bypass them completely.

Now see, you're getting me into this. The difference then, between you and me, is that you are not a fan of certain sports. I am a fan of all falcon athletic teams, have been ever since I came to BGSU. I don't discriminate between any teams, they all get my tuition money and my support. I'm sorry 24, but if we didnt have a mens basketball program i know that it wouldnt effect you. To say that you are a fan of all falcon sports is ludacris. Whenever i talk with you and I bring up mens bball or hockey, you never want to talk about it, or never have anything good to say. I dont like where the hockey program and basketball program are but, i make every game that i can and cheer my head off for them to win. This is something i can say with assurance that you do not. I would like for you to say anything bad about the hockey team after an effort this past night. The team has played a LOT better the past few weeks and it really is promising to see this team get a win against an NHL stocked scUM team. The hockey team will be vastly improved next year with paluch as coach or not. Just look at Notre Dame a few years ago. They were in the same situation as we were and now look at them, #1 in the country. What the hockey team needs are large crowds like tonight, not people like you who are "boycotting" the program next year. Thats terrible, how can you call yourself a fan? Im sorry that just really irritates me.

Yea, I know it's a little late now, but cheering 'Go BG' when they go 'Let's Go Blue' really pisses them off. There was a group of us that did this in Ann Arbor and I'm surprised we made it out of Yost alive. Mental note for next.
