I'm not concerned with how these kids look next to high school players -- I'm interested to see what they look like in 2-3 years next to Central Michigan's, Miami's, and Toledo's players.
It's almost impossible not to get excited and itchy for football when watching recruit videos though.

Adrian Hodges looked great. Preston Burrell as well, Willie Geter and Raymond Hutson stood out.No one looked as good as Jammal Brown from last years video. Ransom looked the best in My opinion. I may owe you some money Jacobs4heisman.
Glenn Stanley played behind a 6 man line? check the video? Probably just a coincidence but the first two plays that was the case.

Stanley played safety in HS. There was a clip of him on some FL HS site that was more impressive than the video they show here. He returned some punts in HS. I like the idea of getting a guy 6-2 and 210 that returned some punts.
Agree with you about Jahmal Brown...he backed up that showing with some impressive plays this year too. One of the defensive hilights of the year for me was that play he made on 4th and short against OSU where he met the back in the hole and just flat out stuffed him. Sanderson, Mahone, Brown, the prep kid they just signed, Smith (although he might play WR) gives us more depth and athleticism at safety than I can remember ever having.

Flip,
If we're thinking of the same play, it was Brown that met Pittman at the line, wrapped his arms, picked Pittman off the ground, drove him 5 yards back into the backfield and planted his ass like a tree. THAT was one of the best tackles I've seen in some time. I think Brown has a huge future with BG.
And you're right about the depth and athleticism of the secondary. Spring Ball is only 2 months away!

EMU had a guy a few years back named Ron Rice who was a bit bigger than that, played DB and returned punts. That guy could lay a hit! Played a while for the Lions too.Flipper wrote:Stanley played safety in HS. There was a clip of him on some FL HS site that was more impressive than the video they show here.
