Congrats to Omar. Any word if he will be heading to NFL Europe?

Fifth on the depth chart? Behind Casey Printers? Never heard of him. But the Chiefs signed him to a three year deal on 10/28/2006, then released him from the active roster on Nov 1 and signed back to the practice squad.

Actually he did play in California, but it was in the Pop Warner Championships. Printers was TCU's QB back with LaDainian Tomlinson.

How does being assigned to NFLE work? Do the European teams draft from a pool? Or do the NFL teams have certain agreements with NFLE teams? I tried to look it up when Steve Sanders was allocated to NFLE, but couldn't find a team for him. Will Robert Redd be headed back that way? I forget what he was up to this past season...

Good luck across the pond, Falcons! :-D

The answer would be yes. they are both allocated to specific teams and drafted by those teams. No idea how it works but some players are both. Noone has a certain agreement with an NFL team.
