Boise State OFF schedule?

Just thought that I would post this here. I don't know if it means anything. I heard on the Idaho that a MAC team (one of the Michigan teams) has backed out of a game that was to be played @UI (the other Idaho D1 school). They were saying that the WAC and MAC conferences are doing some negotiating on other games. I don't know if they are using the BSU/ BGSU as leverage but it might be the case. I also heard from an inside source not to expect to see our schedule til March.

Again, I don't know if any of this means anything or not but I thought that I'd pass on what I had heard.

Thanks for the update...this involvement by the conferences in scheduling OOC games bugs me a bit. I could see this being the start of a slippery slope that ends with the "power" teams, or teams with the right kind of influence, getting more attractive matchups while the lesser programs wind up playing a bunch of stiffs nobody wants to see.
