What an awesome game. To score like that on anybody with most of the starters off the floor (basically running next year's starting lineup, I'd guess) is a heck of a statement.
Great game from Breske today as well. She was awesome out there.

I love this team!

Awesome. Nothing else to really say.

The WCB Gods are looking out for us though. Texas A&M lost tonight to unranked Iowa State, and in doing so, became the third straight team to lose right after jumping us unjustly in a poll. The Gods recognize the idiocy, and do their best to correct it in a timely fashion.

Nebraska, who was right on our ass in the AP poll, also lost tonight to an unranked team.

21 of 23 from the line didn't hurt either.

My sister and I greatly enjoyed the game. We were sitting there saying "Okay...we still have double their score!!" And we were anxiously awaiting the free fries, which were yummy! Once we got the 85, we decided we wanted 100. We didn't quite get there, but I can't complain with a 45 point win. These girls are amazing!!

It was really great too to see the starters on the bench cheering on their teammates. It just shows that this team is all about the team...not about the glory for themselves. Great job by the underclassman....next year should be a fun year!!

I honestly think Tara Breske is our next super player, if she stays healthy.

Speaking of domination, BG now leads the all-time series with Akron 37-2.

I also enjoyed hearing on the postgame show that Coach Roos spent over an hour shoveling snow at a duples that some of the players live in. I wonder if there in another program in the country where the associate head coach would do that!

During one of the game promotions, Roger Achter, Kate's dad, made 5 3-pointers to win an IPOD (it just so happned it was also his birthday). Kate kept sneaking peaks at the court to see how he was doing.

The BG women just flat out ROCK! So very good indeed!

I hope this team makes it to at least the sweet 16 in the NCAA's. I would think that losing in the first round the last two years would be additional motivation but as you all know you can knocked out early if you don't keep your eye on the ball....

Keep rollin ladies!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I'll third that as well. :D :supz: It was so awesome seeing Breske get her first 3 and then Bugher getting hers. I didn't think either of them were going to do much from 3 land especially Bresk, but she got open and calmly knocked down the trey. :D It was also nice to see Jazz playing alot better tonight as well. She had a down spell for a while but now has picked it up. She's so damn quick its not funny.

So that was Kate's dad that won the ipod nano. Nice B-day present to go along with a butt shalacking by his daughters team. :D

Boy, even though Akron is not the creme of the crop as far as opponents go, this really shows how much we stand above the rest of the MAC. I cannot wait until the NC2A Tourney!! Final Four in C-Town baby!!

Jazz absolutely SMOKED that girl on the breakaway. The girl had at least a ten foot lead on her and it looked like Jazz wasn't even trying that hard against her! We gave that poor girl (Sarah right?) crap the entire rest of the game for it on the sideline. And what the hell was up with the crAkron player pouting and crying over there on the bench?
Yeah right girl!

Oorah!
