OSU's home winning streak ends..

Post by Jacobs4Heisman »

at 27. MSU beat 'em in Columbus today. They're a much different team without Hoskins.

They were the closest team to us in terms of home winning streaks.

OSU and the B10......

Post by Falconboy »

Wow, this something. For OSU to lose to anybody not named Purdon't is surprising a little. I actually have a Big10 RSS feed icon in my Firefox bar that dispenses B10 Ladies B-ball info just to keep up what with goings on there , mainly for how IU is doing which isn't that great at all. They'll destined to finish below .500 in the B10. I should probably do more and find out how the other schools that we've defeated early in the season are doing. I believe Temple is doing well last I checked.

Boy, I'd sure love another crack at those Buckeyes.

It took me a while to get over it, but I think I'll be OK.

FWIW, in one of the lates bracket predictions, we had a possible sweet 16 matchup with Ohio A&M. That would rule. They're very vulnerable -- probably the most vulnerable 1-2 seed if they don't lose a couple more times.

Temple just ran their A-10 record to 12-0. Their last A-10 game of the regular season is at GW. Temple has run their RPI all the way up to the mid 30s, and it'll surely get a bump from playing GW (8 RPI). The blowout of that team is looking better every day. They are comfortably in the tournament. Notre Dame is all the way up to #22 RPI, and Delaware is back in the top 25 as well.

Indiana has had a rough year, including a lot of turmoil within the team. It's a shame. They're still at 44 in the RPI. UTA is 13-0 in conference, and they've climbed up to around 70 in the RPI. Robert Morris is 11-3 in conference, and they've also cracked the top 100. Oakland is 10-1 in conference, and is close to cracking the top 100. Ball state is still in the top 50, and NIU is in the top 100, but both of those teams are teetering right now.

I got all these numbers from RealtimeRPI, and they tend to overrate the mid-major teams a bit, so some of these RPI numbers may actually be a bit worse.

I was just looking at GW and trying to figure out why they are a top 10 team and saw that Temple is undefeated in the A-10 and plays at #9 G. Washington 2:00 PM on the 25th.

Gooooooo Temple!

Great updates, J4H! Our OOC sked was killer but the MAC is holding us down.
