Vegas lines are designed to get equal betting on both sides of the game, not to predict a winner. Did you catch the first paragraph I wrote? Or not.

Oh well...
That sucks. Tell 'em you came down with rubella or something...

It was great to see the final score on the tv screens at Northfield Park. We had a company party there (I won $30! LOL) Saturday evening. It feels great to get a win like this. I don't care how good or bad Morehead State is...WE NEEDED THIS ONE>

Hey, we've got nothing to lose at this point. Go out and repay OPEW Wed night! I'll be taking the Freaklings to the Akron game Sat.

I have listened, watched gametracker, and read others observations, but haven't seen a game. This team that played tonight, was not the same team that I have read/heard about it. Dan and I talked to Maureen at the half, She said this was the best she had seen BG play. The ball moved constantly on offense. Always being passed and getting excellent shots. On Defense the guys were great. As soon as the ball game in to the post, 3 guys were around it, shots at the perimeter were well guarded. Over all it was a fun game to watch. Including Dan and I, I think there were 6 BG fans that I saw but oh well. Sat next to one of Bland's high school coaches (he also had a former player on Morehead's team).
Yeah, that game was a lot of fun to attend. Even if I did have to sit next to PGY (Jeremy) the whole time.

Speaking of the Paladins I attended a Furman game on Saturday. They were in town to beat the crap out of The Citadel. Furman can flat out shoot the ball. They remind me of a late 90s Dakich team without an Anthony Stacey.

Furman has wins over Vanderbilt (RPI 34 and Appalachian State RPI 55) by the way.

Guys please ok we won a game against a very weak team. But let’s look at reality. In the first 5 minutes of the game we were up by only 4. DD substituted and we broke the game open by playing team ball and great defense. We committed 8 fouls and had 11 assists in the half. In the second half DD kept some players in that should not see the floor for more than 2-3 minutes a game. The result was BG was out scored by Morehead State…Morehead State not OU, Miami, Akron or Kent our next 4 opponents but Morehead State. We committed 13 fouls, Marshall picked up 4, because our defense was horrid. Our guards let their men shoot, drive and dish at will. DD needs to keep the better players in for the next few games so they can get a solid team attitude. I am glad to see Dusan getting very little time and with Bland being “gone” this only helps the team. Now it is time to take the next step.
