There was to be a boosters meeting at the alumni lounge this evening;
it was posponed because Paluch and Cole are out of town.
Either job interview or recruiting?

At the end of the season, if Paluch has been renewed, can I get some of what MACMAN is smoking or drinking?

We have asked Shane, Bigdog et al to give examples of why they thing that Coach Paluch should be allowed to leave.

MACMAN would you please explain in depth why you think that a team that has finish Dead F** Last 2 years in a row,
and will set loss records; will be a top contender next year?

This is just too funny

I am concvinced that MACMAN is Scott Paluch. I can not see anybody being that stupid to make the comments that he does. Either he is Scott Paluch or Paluch pays him a lot of money to come on this sight.

Either way he sounds like a complete idiot. excuse my choice of words but there is no other way to put. I read one stupid post after another from him. Give it up MACMAN. Stop with all your excuses, what are you his mother?

You can say whatever you want MACMAN, your words are laughed at on this sight and your boys days are numbered. If they do not get rid of him this year , (which i do not see how they won't) than they will get rid of him eventually. It is inevitable.

You would be wrong. MACMAN is a long time BG resident. I don't believe he's on the take either or he would be able to afford a wax treatment to go along with that blue dress (which may explain the mother reference).

Other than that, just use the cutting edge ignore button we have here on ay-ziggy-zoomba.com.

I am fairly certain he will be here next year and we'll see what happens after that..generally if they renew a contract it will be with a year left, which is after next season

Actually, it's due to the Ohio Revised Code -- 149.43, if memory serves.

The Freedom of Information Act applies to federal government records.

They used to keep a BGSU salary list in a special room of the Jerome Library. I suppose to get a copy of a contract like this, one would want to contact the athletic department directly.

Scott has two more years on his contract. I thought everyone knew that.

Paluch was given a 5 year contract when hired on 4/15/2002. I cannot find anything in the archives about an extension on BGSUfalcons.com.

If he is on his original contract, 5 years would be over on 4/15/2007.

Why wouldn't an extension have been publicized?
Just curious.

Yes, he was given a five year contract when he came to BG. Which means that after this season his contract is up. I also never heard anything about an extension given to him. I asked around and nobody has heard anything about an extension. I doubt it but you never no. IF they did give Paluch an extension they are problably smoking the same stuff that MACMAN is.

We will find out soon enough.

Correct he was initially given a five year contract (and an initial salary of $90,000 plus incentives). Paul Krebs inked him to an extension a few years ago. Which means after this season he has two more years to go.

Why was this not made public. Where did you get this information? Just curious because i find it very hard to believe.

It was made public when Krebs signed Paluch to the extension.

I do seem to remember reading about it in the Sentinel Tribune. I can't for sure say when, as I don't think there was a major write-up about it. It was just kind of published in passing. I want to say it was at the end of the 2004-05 season, but I don't know for sure. When this thread started I looked on www.bgsufalcons.com in the archives but did not find anything about it.

I, for one, had been under the impression that his contract was up at the end of this season. If he really did have a two-year extension done at some point, we're probably stuck with him. I am not optimistic that this University would eat two years worth of a contract.
