If i spent enough time... I could find logos that are very similiar to the new BG one... why blend in, when you can be sooo much different...

love the old school look... will have to preserve my old school BG stuff... maybe vacumn seal it!

I support FieldTurf. Every field I ever been on or walked on with this stuff looks and feels great. Injuries are neither a plus or minus based on research. Total field flexibility with other uses/teams available. Lower maintenance costs at a time of tight budgets. Players nearly UNIVERSALLY prefer FieldTurf and I want the best players at BG.

I am sure all this is posted above in the zillions of posts along with the posts bemoaning the rusting of our lawn mowers. Spart43 has it right when he basically says "get behind the Field; get behind the team". What kind of Falcon fan would truly jump ship based on this decision? Yes, grass is good and traditional. When you have to redo the entire stadium base and drainage to even consider having grass, I say hello FieldTurf.

Let's get behind this team. I like the leadership and decision making I am seeing in the dept. I am sure I don't or will not agree with all the decisions either. Let's move forward.

Oh wait....that is all that is talked about anymore!!! I personally hate the thing, but if they make it the new symbol of our great University than so be it....

After all it is better than the ugly A$$ Jayhawk logo they have here at KU....
