Yeah you probably are.
Mcilrath is soft. all his teamattes know it and so does everyone who has ever played hockey with him. It is not bad enough that he can't play in the playoffs. I know this because i was told by guys on theteam and trainers, so i do know what his injury is like. *snip*
It's been a reasonable discussion so far, let's keep it that way. RUIT

Bzzzzzzzzz. Bzzzzzz. Bzzzzzz...
Know what that is? It's the sound of all the bees in your bonnet.
*snip* Thanks for the intelligent commentary.

Yes I agree with both camps here. First guys in the NHL play with these sort of injuries all thee time. Many will just wear an itech for a a few weeks, or with a jaw injury just the bottom portion of an itech.
On the other hand does it really matter if he plays. The season is basically over, why risk any more of an injury with the face or concussion symptoms etc.

Resorting to personal insults and swearing is clearly the way to go when you're "all facts". Look, you can continue to rant and rave until you're blue in the face. I've had enough of this. Say what you want, call me names, it's all good.
And if you are, in fact, a former player, I'm ashamed to think that I may have cheered for you at some point.
Lock it up for all I care. I'm done.

Sorry PDT, sometimes i loose my cool. But i could care less what peregrinner feels and i hope i never showed whoever it is any curtosy of any kind when i played at BG. I am ashamed that i had a fan like that.
The injury is about gaining the respect of you team. If he steps up and says i dont care that im hurt my team needs me for playofs. God knows the boys need all the help they get especially from a guy who is one of the best freshmans. You have to have some dignity and pride and show people that you put your teamattes before you.

Okay, knock off the shenanigans.
I really don't have the time to baby-sit this thread nor board. I have to put the finishing touches of $2.4 million lift in business and then work on a paper for my MBA class.
This has been a reasonable discussion until tempers started to flair.
We're all just phucking shadows on a computer screen but let's not disregard civility.
You know, I once cut myself with my 10" chef's knife and then used lemon. NOW THAT EFFING HURTS, boy.

This is the article where it is mentioned that he is out for the season. It wouldn't surprise me one bit to see him on the ice for the playoffs. Reporters sometimes get their statements mixed up. The comment he heard could be "out for the rest of the regular season."

Last summer I did landscaping work and got my hands torn to pieces by thorns and whatnot. Made the same mistake with the lemon. WOW! You'd never know by looking at the cuts, but those little b*stards sure did hurt!Rightupinthere wrote:You know, I once cut myself with my 10" chef's knife and then used lemon. not the only Ferris injury
I, too, had an injury at Big Rapids. Today I had the pleasure (really!) of a general anesthetic while a guy pulled out the remainder of a front tooth, then drilled for and planted a nice little stud where, at a date to be named later, another professional will fit me up with an implant.
Good times.
Good times.

"Regarding BGSU, I would think their biggest strength is that they never give up, They never slow down and they battle hard even after the other team scores. We have to be on our game and never, ever take the foot off the gas for a second."

"BG was relentless. It's like they know that a good first pass on the breakout from a defenseman will almost always result in an odd-man rush against them - but they go in anyway and dare you to make that pass. All three of their goals were just grit and effort. That's a team any fan can be proud to support...they give all they've got."
