MAC bar info...FYI

Post by greg1 »

for those who may want to start getting their drink on earlier than the typical 1100am open time for downtown bars......Nick's Sports Corner, located at 612 Prospect Ave. will be opening at 8am Wed., Thurs., Fri., and Sat. He decided not to open early on Tuesday because games don't start until 1pm and the crowds are generally less.

It's a rather small bar but the beer prices are pretty reasonable and the Sandwiches and Pizza are fantastic. Also, if you find yourself with late night munchies, they serve food until 230am.

My only question, being a minor and all, is whether or not this place (or any others up there) allow patrons under 21 to enter. I'll unfortunately be just a month shy of it at the time of the tournament.

this is pretty much a straight up bar so being under 21 won't get you too far inside the place unless you come with people who are over 21 and kind of blend in with them. Just don't order a beer or sit at the bar and they probably won't say too much.
