They were asked to destroy the gator, they were timed on how long it would take to destroy the gator. If there was not any intention on the gator being destroyed then the cops would have been called, They would not have been videotaping the event. If It was not intentional and Nike was not the ones sitting there with a camera capturing the whole thing on video because it was intended to be destroyed, then NIKE would be suing whoever videotaped the thing and put their copyrighted logo on the video. Last time I checked, Nike has no pending lawsuits against any videographers for the event.
So maybe it is you, who is blind, to the whole purposed of this.
You are wanting to make more of it than it is just because it was at OSU. You blindly claim that such a thing would not happen at BG. But you know deep down that is bullchit.
*NEWSFLASH* skipper, BG is far from perfect. It is just some cow town in the middle of nowhere with a bunch of degenerates. College kids are stupid. Not all, but a lot of them are. Anywhere you have a large collectio of college kids, you will have stupid, degenerate activity going on. Wether it be OSU, UT or BGSU it happens. BG fans would tear down a rocket or anyones mascot when being asked to do so just as these OSU kids did.
Now back to the other thing. Notice also, that I did not reference either one, the game or the contest. So maybe I am legally blind, but you flat out cant read. Is everyone from Chardon illiterate?
I never said that the mascot was destroyed due to the outcome of the contest, nor did I say that it was due to the outcome of the game. I simply said, if you had a comprehension level high enough to correctly interpret, that if the circumstances were flipped, Florida would have done the same exact thing to Brutus.
F'n liberals do not know how to interpret things on their own. Everything must be drawn out in crayon for you

You are applying the OAMU "moral relativity" line.
In my job, I know about intentional acts. I know about "setting the stage." YOU'RE in "law enforcement" so you should have SOME inkling of the human condition.
Yes, the statue was "suppose" to be destroyed. That's why it was made out of blue foam. The perps destroying it were not asked to destroy it or they would not be looking over their shoulder. You're [supposed] in law enforcement, sunshine. Simply because a can of spray paint is sitting next to a clean wall and someone sets up a hidden camera pointed towards the wall, doesn't make spraying grafitti "okay".
Let's take it to an absurd level, shall we? Is rape on a prostitute legal? It is moral? "She's asking for it" would be your reply, I must assume (applying your logic). And if the rape isn't reported, then that makes it even more the proper, I must presume. Please understand that I'm not trying to equate trashing a statue is equal to rape. I am, however, drawing a parallel to your weak logic being applied in order to hold your strawman together.
You don't get it and never will. Fact: a mascot was erected on campus to satisfy a debt. That statue was initially defaced and then destroyed because of a lost football game (If you put a statue of Freddie Falcon, would have it been destroyed? I doubt it).
If the OSU faithful would have run a little farther and faster, we wouldn't be having this discussion.
You're beyond myopic. You're beyond blind. You're beyond clueless. Now go away and abuse yourself.
I'm tired of plucking wings from flies. I'm also tired of this circle jerk (which is normal with you)
Good day, sunshine.
