Anywhere you have a large collectio of college kids, you will have stupid, degenerate activity going on. Wether it be OSU, UT or BGSU it happens. BG fans would tear down a rocket or anyones mascot when being asked to do so just as these OSU kids did.

I never said that the mascot was destroyed due to the outcome of the contest, nor did I say that it was due to the outcome of the game. I simply said, if you had a comprehension level high enough to correctly interpret, that if the circumstances were flipped, Florida would have done the same exact thing to Brutus.

One difference in your little scenario, The Gator was set up with all intentions of being destroyed, the people who placed it there knew about it, obviously were ok with it therefore it is not criminal.
If someone set up a hidden camera to catch thugs spraying paint and creating graffiti art on the owner of the buildings wall and the said owner does not intend for his wall to be so wondefully decorated in graffiti, then it is criminal.
the owner has the right to do what they want with their property.
