The BG Athletics website's lead story this noon was the upcoming softball season. So I went to the roster and noticed that Desiree Miller is no longer with the team. I believe she was a starter most of her freshman season and also on the ALL-MAC Freshman team. I did an internet search and found her at Florida Gulf Coach College. Anyone know what happened

OK. I'll partially answer my own question. Happen to be spending two weeks in Fort Myers Beach, Fl and I guess Florida Gulf Coast College is in the area because the local paper had their results. BTW they've played 12 games already. Anyway Desiree Miller was listed as going 2 for 4 in one of the wins. So, I guess she did not have to sit out a year.

Not sure why she really left BG... it was rather sad to see she and others (those still eligable) leave the program since last season. I hope her move is better suited for her now.
