Men's Chorus to Sing Star Spangeld Banner for Senior Nght

Post by The Niz »

I just found out that the Athletic part has put in a request to Dr. Skoog to have the Men's Chorus sing The Star Spangeld Banner for tommorrow night's game. Skoog immediately replied with a yes, and asked us to extend our own invitations to any alumni of the chorus to participate as well (I was thinking Mr. Lyon's may want to join us). I'm not sure how many other former chorus members are on this forum but the invitation extends to you all. Call is at 6:40 sharp tommorrow night, see you there.

Niz,
Do you know what time you guys will actually sing at? I have a tendency to miss the SSB because I run late, but I'm bound and determined to make it to this one.

Only 4 NOT touring.....thats amazing! How many does that make going and how many busses will you be taking? Make sure you triple check your alarm clock tonight and have a spare if the power goes out. I sang with the group for 7 years and was never late for anything...except for Sprint Tour my last year, and I was President! Talk about embarrasing, and I don't think Skoog talked to me until the next day and I sat in the seat next to him. I wish I could be there to sing tonight, but I have to work. Make all of us who can't be there proud, and stay to cheer the ladies on to victory. Remember to have the concert on March 24 put up on the website. If I weren't running the All-Ohio gymnastics meet in Anderson Arena starting at 7pm I would be there. What time does that concert begin? Have a great tour and don't eat to much in Lilburn. Also, enjoy the church with the giant celtic cross in Winterhaven. And don't get arrested at Pleasure Island, though you wouldn't be the first. See you guys in March.
