Nice Pics! Thanks for posting them! Lots of empty seats there, but the place is huge! Reminds me of games at the Shott. How do the two places compare in size?
"Regarding BGSU, I would think their biggest strength is that they never give up, They never slow down and they battle hard even after the other team scores. We have to be on our game and never, ever take the foot off the gas for a second."

"BG was relentless. It's like they know that a good first pass on the breakout from a defenseman will almost always result in an odd-man rush against them - but they go in anyway and dare you to make that pass. All three of their goals were just grit and effort. That's a team any fan can be proud to support...they give all they've got."

Actually, I've never been to the Shott. For that matter, this was the first road game I've ever been to, although I don't know how that happened with all the times I wanted to go see them at UM, MU, ND, etc.

The announced attendance was 5,900+, and I believe it. Some fans I talked to at Famous Dave's said that they can pack about 15,000 in there for Creighton basketball games, although for the hockey games they have much of the upper level curtained off. Thanks for looking.

Yeah. She was there the entire game, and I only saw one player who "noticed" her. 'Twas Mr. Spratt at the end of the game when they had pulled him to get the extra man on the ice. She was actually gone for much of the 2nd period, as her friend got whacked on the head with a puck, and they both went off with the medics. For the record, ya should've been there when they put on "Cotton Eye Joe." Thats all I'm sayin'.

FYI, here's the arena's website... I'm gonna post one of the pictures from it over in the SEBO thread in the football forum.... some striking similarities in the exterior design.

Thanks! Yep, she's good. Went and got checked out and had a concussion, but that was it.

Excellent. Thanks for that. I didn't see the post written by her earlier in this thread.

Hope you make a full recovery, skearney.....and I hope some of our posters recover fully from your - uh - appearance on our thread, Niki. :-D

Good luck to your team the rest of the way.
