Anyone know if they will be honored before or after the game today?

Dan has always done a Sr. recognition ceremony AFTER the game. I'm sure they'll be honored in some way! Both are deserving.

Netter didn't get a ceremony.

They did after the game.

Matt seemed a little chocked up. DD had high praise for him. Bad feet. Could have been so much better if it were not for injuries. Nobody had/has more "want to" that Matt! Congrats! Thanks. Good luck.

Martin didn't say too much. "Thank You." He had is dad pass him a ball for his last basket in Anderson (lay up... he made it). Classy.

Thanks to the seniors (but I'll be at the Q - let's get an upset).

Netter certainly did get a ceremony. I remember him speaking after the game, as Matt and Martin did today.

I heard that he was originally going to have his dad pass him the ball to shoot a 3, but they needed the gym cleared by 9pm.

Seriously, while Martin's shooting may have gone awry for stretches later in the season, I thank him for everything he did in his short time at BG, making some otherwise fugly games exciting. It probably wasn't easy at times, but he always seemed to come out and give it his all (from what I can tell 3 hours away at least.)

And I don't think enough can be said for Matt's contributions. The dedication despite the bad wheels, and outstanding grades throughout.

Thank you and good luck guys!

It was touching to see Dan get so choked up talking about Lefeld. Say what you will about Dan's record since he came back and say what you will about his temper, the man truly cares about his players.

Yeah, I was also at that game and Netter was recognized. He didn't really say much but he got his chance to talk.

Gotta love something stated with total certainty that is, in fact, wrong.

I second that. While it hasn't gone as we hoped, they will always be Falcons!

I don't like the Ohio draw at all. We simply don't match up with Bobcats. OTOH, maybe the team will come out with the "WTF, we've got nothing to lose and everything to gain" attitude. Ruin someone else's season.
