Ticket info for the Q

Post by ZiggyZoomba »

Fresh off their thrilling 68-64 victory Sunday over Miami on Senior Day, the BGSU Men's Basketball team will head to Cleveland to compete in the 2007 MAC Tournament First Round this Wednesday, March 7th. The Falcons will be the #12-seed and will face #5-seed Ohio in a 3pm scheduled start. If youre planning on heading out to Cleveland to cheer on the Falcons, be sure to SAVE BIG by getting your tickets through BGSU if at all possible! Call the BGSU Athletic Ticket Office at 877-BGSU TICKET on Monday or Tuesday (March 5th or 6th) or stop by the BGSU Will Call Table at the NE Entrance to Quicken Loans Arena (at Huron & E. 6th) any time Wednesday beginning when the doors open for the day (game times 1pm, 3pm, 5pm, 7pm). First Round All-Session tickets (good for all four games on the day) are ONLY $30 through BGSU while they last as opposed to $47 walk-up at The Q. As long as the Falcons are alive in the tournament (Quarterfinals Thursday, March 8&Semifinals Friday, March 9&Championship Saturday, March 10), all-session tickets featuring the game in which BGSU plays will be available while they last at the BGSU Will Call table each day.

Don't forget to stop in the Winking Lizard Tavern 2 ½ hours prior to each game BGSU plays in for the MAC Bash pre-game gathering, presented by the BGSU Alumni Association. Conveniently located directly across the street from Quicken Loans Arena at 811 Huron Road E., the Winking Lizard Tavern is the official Falcon Fan and Alum headquarters prior to each game in which the BGSU Women's OR Men's Basketball team plays!

See you in Cleveland this week, and GO FALCONS!

I can second that motion. The Winking Lizard has one of the best beer selections you'll ever find. They don't have them all on draft like Ashley's in Ann Arbor, but still to have 120+ bottled beers is a NICE change of pace from the places that only offer about 20.

Unfortunately switching jobs leaves me without as much vacation time as I was used to, so no MAC tourney for me this year...I'll even be working through the first 2 days of the NCAAs :(

I'll be doing my usual thing...errrrr volunteering...at the MAC Tournament all week. I'll be the one carrying a clip board around the press table who needs reading glasses whenever he looks at something.

In fact, I spent all day there yesterday. Got to talk to Curt and some of the players. I was suprised they came in Sunday when they don't play until Tuesday. We were the only one of the top four seeds to come in early and watch the first round. I think Curt is making sure they enjoy the whole experience with this beign the seniors last go round.

I you can pick me out...be sure to stop me and say hello.

The winking lizard appears to be popular. It's also the Ohio pre-game party place... Should make for some fun pregame banter....
