Thanks for the live stats, MAC!

Post by Tommy Glantz Is A Sniper »

Every year at the MAC tournament, it's like they've never done this before. Here we are, nearly halfway through the first half of BallsTate-EMU, and the live stats aren't up and running yet.

It's not really a huge deal...I'll survive without up-to-the minute scoring updates of the 8-9 Game in the MAC Tournament...but if they weren't planning on actually providing live stats, they probably shouldn't have said they would.

It's just really, really frustrating as someone who's not in a position to listen to the games.
I'm not as cool as Tony Gaver, nor will I ever be.

Try sitting closer to a radio. It's a much better position to listen to the games. Standing works sometimes, too.

Here's what I'll do. I'll drive to Indianapolis and let you take care of my kids while I listen to the games.

Better yet, I've got Sirius in my car...I'll just drive to Indianapolis, turn around, and come home. Six hours should be enough to listen to, what, three games?

See? You've got a plan already!
Though I may be in Cincinnati by the time you get here, just so you know...

I am following the BSU/EMU game on ESPN.com....live updates every 30, 60 or 90 seconds! that's how I'll be following the BG game.

BTW, EMU leads BSU 32-25 at the half.

So does it actually update for you? Every time I've tried to follow on ESPN.com (both at home and via cell phone) it has either been way behind or stopped updating for long periods of time.

cstv.com is usually pretty good with the updates, even if it's not a gametracker game.

It's been working fine today. EMU up 35-25 with 15 min left.

Not to harp, but eight 4-minute games?

Isn't that 32 minutes?

I thought color commentary meant blaming the refs.
