Over $110 Million raised for the $120 Million goal for Building Dreams: The Centennial Campaign for BGSU.

Awesome news!

I didn't see this posted yet and apologize if it is elsewhere.

Just saw that, too, Freak. I guess that answers the question the other day "how much is left to raise?"

Next up... AZZ.com Arena!!

Well, judging from the contents of my wallet and pockets, we're $7.52 in the black on that fund!

Great news on Sebo though!!

I'd count up the money in my pockets, too, but I'm not wearing pants right now. :P

FF,

I took a walk around the Doyt a few weeks ago and I think you're right. The outside has some areas where the concrete needs replaced. The inside has had some nice touch ups done over the last couple years. As much as I wanted to stick with natural grass, I am jacked to see this artificial surface now. Maybe they can get rid of the tarp rolls that never seemed to get unrolled. LOL.

Ready for a monkey wrench in this party?

From a press release on Tuesday from Ball State and FieldTurf:

"Ball State thus becomes the eighth member of the Mid-American Conference (MAC) to elect to play its home football games on FieldTurf, the world's runaway leader of artificial turf. No other NCAA conference boasts as many FieldTurf fields as does the MAC. Amongst MAC returnees, only Bowling Green will play their games on natural grass this fall. The 2007 football campaign will mark the first one in which Ball State has not played its home contests on grass."

Two things:

A) Maybe BG didn't make their plans known yet, which is why they're included here as playing on natural grass this fall.

B) If they haven't made their decision known publicly, but it's FieldTurf, wouldn't FieldTurf have left that out of the release? Probably looking into things a bit much with falconboy-colored glasses, but if we're going fake, I hope it's not the pavement they have at UT.
