Cool. They play the Bombers in Dayton on March 20th. I'll have to check with Nicholas to see if he wants to go..... we'll wear our BG stuff.

Awesome! I may actually have to venture out to one of those games again.
I'm sad to see Unger gone, but glad I will still have the chance to see him play.

Those of you who think the Ice Arena needs an overhaul...well you're going to just LOVE the Toledo Sports Arena. Word of warning for those of you driving up...the MLK bridge is closed for repairs so you'll probably want to get off in Rossford (does anyone actually get off in rossford...they must as there are kids running about) and approach the shithole from the south

Bronson and Unger

Post by Mark C Class of 89 »

I thought I was done with hockey this season but last night I went to see Bronson and Unger play for the Storm. Both of them got a lot of ice time and both played very well. I had not been to a Storm game before and found that I enjoyed the style of play and will go back to cheer on the BGSU boys again.

Taylor Christie plays for Reading.
Reading plays at the Storm March 23 and 24th.
Christie Clan will probably be in town.

Mark C did it appear that James and Jeremy were skating around and having fun? I have seen that from BG players that go to the ECHL.

BTW Rich Meloche has 9 pts in 12 games at Pensecola. He again loves hockey.

Yes, it did seem that the BG guys were really having fun. They looked much more relaxed and loose and with what appeared to me to be much more creative freedom. I was suprised how much I liked the game. I'll gladly go back to the Sports Arena to watch them play the rest of the season.

The Storm's website lists Bronson on the roster, but not Unger. Is this a typo or has Unger moved to another team... injury?

I saw James on campus yesterday.
In the 15 seconds between his classes he said that league was not for him.
I will interpret this to mean that books and AHL are more important to him.
I agreed with him that education and the AHL will be better for him in the long run.
