BG vs EMU Fri. 2:30pm......

Post by Falconboy »

We defeated EMU by a decent margin last time, but this game won't be easy either I don't think. The tiny lineup we have right now will make things interesting for a while. Hopefully Liz's back is feeling better and can get off the schnide here , Ali as well. I'll be watching on FoxSports Ohio somewhere and after a BG win (hopefully) I'll probably take the Falcon Club bus up to Cleveland for the Championship game.

For those of you going on Friday, cheer extra loud for me. I can't make because I'll be stuck at BGHS come tip-off time. My sister and her boyfriend will be there, but she's limited on yelling since she got her wisdom teeth out earlier this week. I'll be listening to the game ASAP. I'll be up on Saturday for the championship with my other sister, so I'm really excited for that...all we need to do now is beat EMU tomorrow!

GO FALCONS!!!! BEAT EMU!!!!

Just wondering if anyone has any advice on which parking lots to use for the game on Friday? I remember there being a number of lots to park in, all with varying price levels. I've got to do this trip as cheaply as possible (and hopefully find somewhere to stay tomorrow evening), so cheap parking will be a definite plus.

Thanks!

P, I always park in the Tower City parking lot when I go to the Q. You can probably find directions online (I'm too tired to provide a link), but the entrance is just West of the Q on the south side of Ontario. Once you get in the lot, drive to the far East end of it to park, because you can get to the walkway to the Q much more easily from there (unless you want to check out Tower City, that is). I paid $7 there on Tuesday. I'm pretty sure most other garages are $10-12.

You can also take the RTA rapid to Tower City, which I'm pretty sure would be even cheaper. I haven't taken it in a while, so I'm not sure what the rates are now.

Pretty sure FSN is carrying it on TWC. I checked the other day and I think that was the channel.

I won't be there today but Mrs Freak is taking the Freaklings and a few of their friends out of school for a "field trip". She got the Infocision Loge again. Since I took a 1/2 day for SR night on 2/28 and a 1/2 day for the UT game Tuesday, I have to pass this one up. Plus, my sales need to be a bit stronger this month since our FL trip is 3 weeks from today. Just gonna have good vibes for a win so I can take the Freaklings back tomorrow for a 4th straight title game appearance. I know those kids will be on the Jumbotron again. Suck ups!

Those that are going....SCREECH LOUDLY!! Get us one more game tomorrow at 1. I do have the tape set and hopefully I figured out the timer on our new DVD/VCR combo. FSN at 2:30. I'll be listening on the net. Gotta know what's going on.

And to make matters worse, our home PC was just serviced and we haven't been able to get back online yet. Mrs. Freak needs to get our pw from SBCGlobal.net again. If I don't show up til Monday, that's why. LOL

GO FALCONS!!!! THAREEEEEEEEEEEEE PEAT

$1.75 each way. I parked at the West Park Station on Tuesday, took the rapid to Tower City, and walked, indoors, to the arena. A great deal.
