Mac Tourney Championship Tomorrow......

Post by Falconboy »

I'm still awaiting a call to see if I can get on the Falcon Club Bus headed to the Q tomorrow but hopefully there's still room. I can still get tix from the Q ticket office right? I missed on getting them from the AA ticket office as I was in Findlay at a friends house watching the game on tv.

The game should be an exciting one.
I'm definitely more nervous about this one than any all year with Liz getting the sprained ankle and whatnot. Things like this are why I have advocated Breske get more time in games , to prepare her for intense gameplay late in the year when we're low on bodies to play.

If todays attendance is any measure, you shouldn't have a problem getting tickets at the gate.

Buy two 5-pack boxes of Kraft macaroni and get into the game for free!

Well, today I read the Blade's recap of the EMU game and it said 2:30 pm Today. But then the Blade website version said 1. The bgsufalcons.com site still says 1pm I believe. I went to the Doyt's Parking Lot L to try and catch the Falcon Club bus but it appeared to have left allready. There was a guy who was waiting there too who had been there since 9am but he said no one was there then. So I don't know what the heck happened with that FC Bus.

The bus left @ 8:30 on Sat. if you called the office after Thursday Robin was riding the bus to Friday's game, so she probably didn't receive your message. The bus was full Sat. 47 seats not a Lake Front which was larger. We rode one of them Tues. & Friday.

Yeah, I figured that the bus must have left much earlier than the stated 9:30am. Sounds like I would've had to call in to reserve really early. Is that what everybody that rode the buses did? I'll have to keep this in mind for next year. I was certianly bummed to miss it as I really wanted to be there.

I can't imagine having waited that long in the first place.

Not sure what you mean but are you saying I should've reserved a spot on the bus before the women even played the games they theroreticly haven't sown up yet? Is that what everybody else did , sign up before BG even won on Fri? I admit I still expected BG to be in the Championship game but I didn't know the protocal reservations for a theoretical game.

Why not reserve? If the team doesn't get there you still get your money back.

In that case I would understand , but they didn't exactly go into much detail about such things on bgsufalcons.com

In most situations like this I would imagine that you would have paid in advance, and if the game didn't happen you could go and try to get your money back, but its likely that Robin would just punch you in the eye and run away with your money screaming "YOU CAN'T CATCH ME!!!"

Another option would probably have been to simply put your name on a waiting list.
