Re: No Windows?
Thanks a lot, TG!! I've been compared to a lot of things in the past....but Falconboy? ( a new low!!!!)TG1996 wrote:falconboy? What did you do with '61??!!![]()
For all the other progress on the building, and also all the things that look like they should be getting done already, I can let a few window openings slide. Besides, it might be that they need those openings for an easier means of getting tools and equipment to the top floor, and will throw windows up there last.

I don't think they are aiming for it to be "Done" by the spring game. In the article about the funding being completed, it was stated that the dedication/grand opening would be the first home game in the fall. The Niz wrote:Getting this thing done in time for the spring game is going to be awfully close. They have in fact started putting the siding up over the yellow down there. I was pretty disappointed when I saw it up close. The siding they are using looks like giant gray metal washboard. It looks pretty terrible. I couldn't believe that it was the finished product so I asked some of the contractors and sure enough, it is. I'll take a camera over there sometime soon to give you all a closer perspective.
Yeah right girl!

I noticed that this morning...and that they have tarps out at the ready. Sure doesn't seem like a grass replacement is in the offing, Sentinel personal ad or not.ZiggyZoomba wrote:The grass at the Doyt is sure greening up....

After driving by the Doyt earlier today to take a little bit closer look at it, it's nice to see that it's actually getting bricked up...not sure if it's real brick or that faux-brick stuff but either way from a distance it looks good. Can't wait to see it all done in the fall!
