I'm a little perplexed with a few things in this tournament. First of all, how are they going to put two teams from the Sun Belt Conference in the same bracket. That doesn't make any sense, it's not like they have more than two teams in the tournament. I'm friends with the coaching staff at ULL and they really didn't expect to be in, so I am happy for them. BUT, why put them in the same region with Middle Tennessee? Secondly, how does Ohio State become a 4 seed? I understand that the Big Ten is down this year, but they did finish first in the conference, and had a great record. The winner of the conference should get at least a three seed in that conference. I'm not sure about Iowa State being ahead of us in the seeding either. They did have a few quality wins, mainly over A&M twice, and there is another big conference win that they had. I don't agree with the seed that we have either, but I think that it probably fits our chances of making it to the Sweet Sixteen better this way. Vanderbilt plays one of the two toughest conferences in the country, but they are beatable. OSU is not that great this year, and I really like the fact that we will have more fans there than they will. I don't like the fact that we are in the same bracket as Duke though. I know that we played them close in Cancun, but them losing to NC State is only going to make them hungrier and more focused. Oh well, it's that time of year again, and I can't wait for the first tip off.

Numerous times.

All I had seen on ESPN was the day and time, and when I called my "covert op" at the watch party after I found this thread he said that the team didn't know anything. He just called back to tell me the team was informed recently.

If the womens selection committee employs the standard S-curve model, then since Duke is the top overall seed, BGSU is the top 7 seed.Jacobs4Heisman wrote:It seems like we got geographical priority, which makes me think we were the top 7 seed. The #7 seed (while I was still figuring/hoping they'd get in as a 6) ties the BG and MAC mark for highest seed by a conference school.

Can't wait to watch this game! Think they'll attempt the student bus again this year? I'd imagine there would be enough interest this time around that it wouldn't fall through.

Vandy is easily the worst of the 2 seeds so it would stand to reason that BG is the top 7 seed.
Aside from being in Duke's Region.....I don't think this could have possibly worked out better for BG in terms of having an incredibly winnable 1st round game and then potential opponents down the line that BG would matchup very well against. I almost hate to say this....but the selection Gods beamed a very bright smile in the direction of Bowling Green, Ohio this evening.
And......does anyone else here think that Duke's coach might have looked in her Region, seen BG....and said....oh %#*&%.....not THEM again!!!

I'm about 98% sure that I'll be there with at least 2 other Falcon fans. I was so excited to hear that we got East Lansing!!! I would love to see our Falcons win again. I was also excited that the game is on Sunday, meaning that St. Patrick's Day festivities would not have to be changed to accommodate the game because I can't miss this game. GO FALCONS!!! BEAT OSU!!!!
GO FALCONS!!

Anyone just catch the clip on FOX Toledo Sports? Kate was being interviewed and said "We're just gonna focus on--"
Then Curt ran in and said "COWGIRLS BABY!!!" and ran off.
I love this team.
