One thing we have going for us is that Curt's a man. I know several schools, including Michigan, have publically stated that they would prefer a woman coaching the women's team. Of course how did that work out at LSU?

Put this PC police thinking might take away an opportuity or two that could be out there right now.

Also, why didn't anyone go after Bob Lindsey at Kent State or Mark Ehlen at Toldeo when they were having all his success several years ago? Did they get some offers and deciede to stay at Kent and Toledo? Did the female coach camp keep them from getting some of those offers?

Just asking!

Ditto for Fran Voll during the First Falcon Dynasty. Do any old-timers have insight on this?

Michigan has never publicly stated that they want a woman. And Mark Ehlen was offered the TCU job back in his heyday for some more $$$ and turned it down. Curt shouldn't make that same mistake.

I don't want Curt to turn down a good job offer, but he does not need to be like Terry Hoeppner and accept just any old job in a bigger conference. $$$ is not everything.

Go for a position that has a chance for success (same thing I would tell Jen). When Curt came to BGSU, he frequently mentioned Fran Voll and Jacki Clark and the glory days of old. He felt confident that within five years he could have a solid program at BGSU.

I will ALWAYS support Coach Miller as the BG coach. What he and his staff have done in the 6 years they've been here is nothing short of phenomenal!! They always strive for the absolute best.

If the day comes when Coach Miller decides to take another opportunity, I'll deal with it then. This is way too fun of a ride to worry about things I cannot control. I truly believe he is very happy here at this time. With an expanding fan base and an awesome class of recruits coming in, he may have THEE perfect job right now. Ride the wave and hang 10 while ya can.

On a couple of accounts he he has said that Bowling Green is where he wants his family to grow up. If he stays with that, we have a great coach for a very long time!
I didn't think Miller was married.

Coach Miller might not be married, but that in no way means that he does not have a family. That is pretty narrow minded thinking
