BG wins wild home opener!

Post by Falconfreak90 »

After dropping a 4-1 decision at Xavier yesterday, BG came back to beat Findlay today, 9-8. The Falcons led 7-3 going into the top of the 9th. Well, the Oilers go on to score FIVE runs and take an 8-7 lead. Kurt Wells hit a solo HR to tie the game in the bottom of the ninth and then BG won the game on a wild pitch. Crazy ninth.

BG now 8-5 and will play this weekend in the Ball State Invitational...playing Lemoyne-Owen, Evansville and Ball State. Could be a chilly weekend.

Whew! That could have been an ugly home-opener. Glad to see us get the win though. I can't wait for the MAC portion of the schedule to begin.
GO BG!!!

Ahh yes. I miss living in the Rochester area. Maybe you could mail me a garbage plate? Or a Wegmans sub?

Hey NY-BG, judging by your avatar, you'd probably be interested in this event if you are in W-NY around Easter. Chance to meed Rick Jenerette
