Why bother with D1 Football?

To dump more water on the idea, you can't mix and match D3 football with the other programs being up in D1. I think its all or nothing in that regard.

I believe you are allowed to "play up" in one sport.

So you could be division 3 in all sports but still play D1 hoops, or D1 hockey. I don't believe you are allowed to be D1 in all sports but play down in one other.

Colorado College is Division I in Hockey and Volleyball only and DIII in all other men's and women's sports. And their president is former Ohio governor Dick Celeste.

i second the batshit insane. this thread is absurd.
