The team left right on time with a crowd of about 50-100 to see them off, including the cheerleaders and 4-5 of the pep band.

The rest of the a band was on the bus ready to go. Those five trumpet players organized before hand to play before they left town. The a band, cheerleaders, dancers, and the team are all using the same bus this year. It kind of sucks for them because they all have to stay with the group the entire time on the trip. But I figure they'll suck it up as they are getting a free trip to detroit and east lansing out of it and possibly a trip to greensboro and if we're all really lucky a trip to cleveland.

Funny side note, a special note in the hotel information sheet that the band received stated the free room delivery of milk and cookies every night.

just wanted to let you know that we (band, team, cheerleaders) made it to the hotel safely. It is an amazing hotel! Now we are trying to find a place to eat dinner! Hope to see you all up here soon!

Yeah, but what they didn't tell you is that the one delivering it is a 300 pounder named Hal.

i havent seen those milk and cookies yet. they do have free popcorn in the lobby.. yummmy. the hotel is great. a nice pool, game room, the staff is wonderful they are very happy we are here. they were all in orange and brown with BG thundersticks cheering as everyone arrived.
