Fantastic comeback when it looked really bad in the early part of the first half. Perfect timing by the refs on the makeup technical call with under a minute to go. A four point lead with the ball and 50 seconds was huge compared to what would have been only a two point lead. Roll Along!!

Congrats ladies!
Lets not wait 18 years for our next tourney win. How about 2 days??
The last update I found on the AP wire still had the game listed as TBA as part of a doubleheader at Breslin with the MSU game. I'm guessing ESPN is probably looking at the remaining matchups and will set times when the first round wraps up tonight.

What a great game! Amber in foul trouble, Ali taking an elbow that knocked her out for more minutes than usual... not the best shooting performance from the floor or the line and still, overcame ALL that adversity to get a nice win!
Way to go ladies! You make us all proud! One more over Vandy and it's Sweet 16 time!!

I hate whining about officiating but geez.....has anyone ever seen a game that was called the way this one was? It just seemed that it was called one way on one end of the floor and an entirely different way on the other end of the floor. The girls got physically beat up. Credit Oklahoma St. with recognizing right away that they were going to get away with pretty much anything they wanted to do....then thugging their way throughout because it was the ONLY thing they had that could keep them in the game. More credit goes to BG for keeping their composure and adjusting to how the game was called. The ticky-tack stuff they were getting called for caused them to lose aggressiveness at times and considering the assults that Oklahoma St. got away with on the other end of the floor, it would have been easy to just totally lose it. They kept their cool and won the game. Kate's 3 was awesome. That's a shot she NEVER takes.....well, unless it's crunch time in an NCAA tourney game with the team down by 2. She looked very comfortable on the shot too. I wonder if she might take more shots from out there next season?
Very nice win in an environment (on the court between the lines) that was as hostile as it gets. The good new for Tuesday? Vandy is not nearly as physical as Oklahoma St. The bad news? They need to be very well rested and Curt might need to try to steal a minute or 2 out of Breske to help keep the troops fresh because they are going to be doing a lot of chasing.

Just got back from East Lansing... what a great game!!! I don't think we would have won if Amber Flynn hadn't stepped up in the first half to key the run that got us out of double figures.
Not the best job of officiating I've seen. They let a lot of "body" contact go, but called a lot of hand/arm kind of stuff, particularly on the ball.
Great win...I'm so glad I was able to be there!

WOOOOOOOOO!!!!!
So much to say.......
First off -- this was one of those days that I just know I'll remember for the rest of my life. Being a part of that sea of orange was absolutely phenomenal. Great seats, great atmosphere, great crowd, cheering a great team on to a great win. Can't ask for anything more. When the final buzzer sounded, my eyes teared up a little. I just felt so good for that entire team to cap off some stellar careers with AT LEAST 1 NCAA win. I'm sure they want more, and I know we all do too.
Officiating -- it was poor to say the least, and OSU got the better of it most of the day. Great teams can fight through stuff like that, and we are most definitely watching a great team here. It was an ugly game, and we did what we had to.
Crowd -- Amazing. Kudos to everyone that was there. THAT'S how I want AA to look. sound, and feel for every home game.
OSU played hard, and a little on the dirty side, but they were getting away with it, so it was mostly smart dirty. I have no clue why Amber or their girl got teed up, so I'm getting ready to watch the replay on Tivo to analyze the game a bit more.
Wow. Just, wow. Awesome day to be a Falcon.
