Rockets making some early plans

From the MACBBS board:

" Your Toledo Rockets are on the verge of postseason play and we want you to join us in Detroit! Cross your fingers, grab your pencils and mark the following date in your calendars. Your UT Alumni Association will be in Detroit on Dec. 2 pending the outcome of the UT vs. BGSU game for the MAC Championship and we’ll be with the Rockets wherever they land in the bowl selection process. We will have a chartered bus trip and pre-game party at Ford Field in the event the Rockets represent the MAC West in the big game!

We are still working on trip and cost details. Please contact our office to be put on the waiting list for more details. Call 419.530.2586 or toll free at 800.235.6766, or email [email protected]. Rocket fans traveling on their own to the game will be able to join us in Detroit and are also encouraged to contact us to be put on the information list.

Due to the quick turnaround time for the MAC Championship game, we’d like to gather information from interested individuals as soon as possible.

Also, the UT dude here at work already re-named his fantasy football team "UT Wins the MAC West again" I love it when pre-mature heckels blow up in your face.

I would love to see this blow up in Toledo's face as much as the next die-hard BG fan. I do have to give them credit on cashing in on the momentum of the NIU win and get some early ticket commitments. We should do the same thing in the late minutes of Saturday's game.

I think Bob Davie was making some early plans for the Rockettes too. "Bowling Green State is going to have its hands full with this Toledo offense". I don't think he has any idea how full UT's hands are going to be with our offense. First things first -- BEAT MARSHALL!!!

Was that before or after Davie talked about how great Brucie's going to be in the NFL?

Print that one out Sunday morning and post it on every flat surface of the BGSU locker rooms.

It isn't so much that they are making plans for the possibility they might go to Detroit, but that they think they are in contention for a bowl if they don't beat us. I don't really think anybody will want to take a sniff of those guys if they lose to us in two weeks.

I think the only BOWL they're getting invited to this year is the GLASS BOWL.
