Looking For 1984 NCAA Championship Game

Post by HockeyMan2000 »

hi everyone,
I was at the '84 NCAA Title game in Lake Placid and wondered if anyone had a good copy on tape or disc. I've been hunting for a while now to no avail, and was hoping some Falcon fans might have a good version in their libraries.

I have plenty of other NCAA finals for trade and would love to see the game again -- anyone please email me at [email protected]

Thanks!

Probably NOT the place to discuss it. It's copyrighted material and BGSU had to get permission to even make it available to certain doners.

Falcon have you dusted off your tape?

Sorry to give a bump to my own thread but I'm still looking for any help on this one :)

Actually it is, sort of....It's around here somewhere.....I'm pretty sure..... :-D
"Regarding BGSU, I would think their biggest strength is that they never give up, They never slow down and they battle hard even after the other team scores. We have to be on our game and never, ever take the foot off the gas for a second."

"BG was relentless. It's like they know that a good first pass on the breakout from a defenseman will almost always result in an odd-man rush against them - but they go in anyway and dare you to make that pass. All three of their goals were just grit and effort. That's a team any fan can be proud to support...they give all they've got."

If I m not mistaken ESPN owns the rights to the game, and they have an extensive archive of every thing they broadcast, I ordered an old Americas Cup race from them about 7 years ago and while it took some time to get it and some sugar, I got it.
Heck I bet any more they would drop it on DVd
