I've started a grass roots watch party for the alums in Indy, if "domestic necessity" doesn't keep me away.

Certainly there are Chicago alums I could watch with, right?? Too bad there isn't a BG bar. Oh well, I'm just happy I'll be able to get the game at all!

Saxy- cheer EXTRA loud (if that's even possible...) for me!

ok so I am confident enough that I can find someone to fill in for me at work that I am ready to purchase tickets. I am looking to get the single session tix (which are now available online) and possibly use my old ID for a student rate. . .

My problem is that the "best available" are in Section 106, Row GG- which is in the corner.

Do you guys think I should hold out and see what becomes the website deemed "best available" next? Should I go and get tickets in the parking lot? Will someone have an extra pair to sell from the BG allotment and show up on this board to hawk them?

Ahhh what to do. . .

Here's the email for the Chicago chapter head, Anthony Snyder '92: [email protected]

My random email to find a couple folks from the BG chapter to watch the game with has turned into a watch party, thanks in part to Lori from the alumni office being in Indy Saturday. Besides, all you need is one person to high five with and it's a party!

I'm going, only 2 hours awat for me. I'd just get a ticket from the friendly guys in the parking lots with the tickets. I sat front row at the ACC tourny in Greensboro last year for the first day thanks to those guys. below face too. Duke still Rutgers isn't going to bring a lot, Duke doesn't have a large following, though they will sell out their allotment, and I wouldn't be worried about ASU's crowd. I already got a ticket though for free, but if I didn't have one, I'd wait and get it outside the stadium.

Just got my tickets ordered (section 121 row DD, so not the greatest seats, but I'm just happy that I will actually be there :D) and my hotel room reserved. I'm probably leaving tomorrow after my morning doctors appointment. I can't wait!

I would assume that most of the "good" seats were bought up by companies and scalpers. I also imagine that the schools got a large chunk to give out to donors.

Thats what they told me at 10pm last night and I asked for 124 instead, and they had PLENTY of seats there. It's far more center than 105 or 106. Give it a shot - they might not be gone yet if they are pushing the off-center stuff.

DD, your avatar's and wallpapers and such make for great T-shirts! Made one for the girlfriend early this morning before she left with the team. It was the orange falcon with shadow over brown background with refuse to lose written above and below it. Wal Mart's printable iron on technology is ever so much cheaper and more gratifying than the Student Bookstore.
Yeah right girl!

Thanks. I really wish I could make t-shirts for SBX or something. A while back I was talking with our Toledo friend about making shirts for www.thefalconstore.com but I think that project is on hold.

I have homemade iron on shirt of this:

On an orange shirt, looks pretty sharp.

I thought about using that this morning, but my girlfriend absolutely loathes the space ghost logo. I can't say I'm particularly fond of it either, but I can at least stand to see it, and I wear apparel with it every now and then.
