So it's Sidney Ribeau. President/Special Teams coach has a nice ring to it.

The most logical guess so far is Ebersbach.

I don't know why I just thought of that but it reminds me of a funny story from a few months ago when I was in Cleveland. I saw him at a bar and went up and asked him if he use to be a QB for BGSU. He was so excited that someone actually recognized him, I think I made his year. End of pointless story.
K Dog,

I used to tailgate with Ricky's parents and brother when he played at BG. Good dude...I saw him at the Kent game 3 years ago as well.

Florida bound in 7 days, bro!

Yeah he was a really nice guy. I can't remember what we talked about because we were both drinking our share.

I hope you get some good weather down here. It had been excellent up until the past two days when we got some rain. Of course 75 rainy isn't even that bad.

Here's what Brandon said about special teams in The Blade.

http://preview.tinyurl.com/2lwy84

Arguably the team's biggest woes last year were punting and kickoff. Bird will oversee the former and Gonzaga the latter. Hargreaves will be responsible for punt return, while Campbell and running backs coach John Hunter will coach the field goal team.

Phillips will focus on field goal block, and tight ends coach/recruiting coordinator Troy Rothenbuhler will be responsible for kickoff return.

Are you serious??? We are staying in Largo at my parents condo! Fly into Tampa Friday AM from Akron/Canton. Mrs. Freak and I are stealing away for 24 hours to a Bed and Breakfast in Gulfport.

Too funny!

The setup sounds like Russian roulette. They are passing ST duties around wondering who is going to get the bullet.

Too bad you weren't staying a few weeks longer...we are headed to Medeira Beach (Tampa/St. Pete area) first weekend in April!! :-D
"Regarding BGSU, I would think their biggest strength is that they never give up, They never slow down and they battle hard even after the other team scores. We have to be on our game and never, ever take the foot off the gas for a second."

"BG was relentless. It's like they know that a good first pass on the breakout from a defenseman will almost always result in an odd-man rush against them - but they go in anyway and dare you to make that pass. All three of their goals were just grit and effort. That's a team any fan can be proud to support...they give all they've got."

Nothing could be worse than what happened last year. The problem areas will be coached by people with no association with last year's debacle, and that's good enough for me at this point.

With the new coaching and new kickers, the nightmare might be behind us.
