Thank you!
big thanks to all who were mentioned in this thread for a tremendous run. There is nothing more that I can add to what has already been said...so I amgoing to extend my BIGGEST thanks to Kate Achter. When Jazz left, it really could have been a devastating blow to the team's foundation but nobody stepped up bigger and took more responsibility on their shoulders than she did. Her willingness and ability to go 40 minutes every time the team took the floor made it possible for every other player on the team to stay in their natural positions and allowed Curt to keep his rotations as close to normal as possible. I wanted to cry for her so much today. Her tank was completely empty and she still dug down deep for an extra mile that just wasn't there. After watching how she has handled herself and the excellence she played with under less than perfect circumstances over the last 3 weeks, I feel better than ever about how the team is going to perform next season behind her unquestioned leadership. The keys to the car now belong to her and as a fan, that sure is a safe, secure feeling.
i gotta say thanks to them all. I am so fortunate that I was able to be at all the tourney games with the band. It has been a blast watching them play and cheering along. Thanks to the seniors too. They will be missed and I wish them lots of luck! Those seniors is what made me enjoy basketball. I used to hate watching basketball. Never enjoyed it at all, but watching these girls over the years, I have found a new sport to watch!
Can't wait for next year and the years after to see what is next!

I'll second that big time. Kate just had nothing but fumes left and she still tried to make things happen. ASU's hot shooting and our real short bench over the course of these last few weeks just wasn't a good combo. These lady falcons are the best team ever.

All I can say is wow, what an amazing season this has been for an amazing team, the buzz on campus the past week has been amazing. THANK YOU to the coaches and players for not only a great season, but for changing my opinion of women's basketball these past two season.
To Ali, Liz, Carin, Amber, Julie, and Megan - Thank you for your four years here at BG, they have been awesome, and your class is by far the greatest in MAC history. The home opener next your will be awesome.
To Kate, Whitney, Lindsay, Sarah, Tara, and Laura - Its time to reload and go for a 4-Peat

Congrats to everyone associated with this team! I have always been a proud Falcon alum, but never MORE proud than I am right now. You have been outstanding examples of sportsmanship and class. Your dedication to your sport has been nothing less than exemplary. I truly enjoyed watching this magical season unfold. Thank you for the memories and thank you for bringing some pride to BGSU! I hope the graduation of this great senior class will not end your involvement with BGSU. Fans everywhere will always remember what this team has accomplished. Thanks again for your continued excellence!

I wrote one a week or so ago, and got a reply today out of the blue. Now I'm afraid to find out when I actually did send it, if it was after the Vandy win or before it.. I might have a disturbing trend of the women losing the game after I send a congratulatory e-mail the past couple years.Tricky_Falcon wrote:I got a response from coach Miller this afternoon after e-mailing him last night. He didn't say much but did thank me for my continued support.

Well yeah, but endearing traits aside...BGFan wrote:Actually, you're just plain disturbing!

I echo all the sentiments. What this group was able to accomplish the last few years is absolutely amazing. As bright as the future is, we may never see a run like this again. Thanks go out to all the players, coaches, band, cheerleaders, and everybody else associated with the program. You've made us all very proud.
