Word over at JJHuddle is that PG Johnny Wolff of Cincy St. X is looking to transfer and what a better way to start a new campaign at BGSU, but by bringing one of your own with you!
Fits a need (head coach) and a bigger need (true point guard) with a knack for scoring.
Another plus for Chris Mack
Chris Mack definitely has a lot to offer. I like his relative youth, energy and recruiting expereince in the state of Ohio.
On a Xavier board, many fans are singing his praises for being the lead recruiter for several members of their incoming class. They also speculate about his prospects of landing a head coaching job in the near future. A few question his in-game coaching and X's and O's acumen and, ironically, cite former Xavier assistant Louis Orr as someone who can develop post players better than he can. It's an interesting discussion:

Akron's athletic director is named Mack Rhoades and their basketball team plays in Rhodes Arena, not that that helped him secure an NIT bid for a 26 win team...Flipper wrote:We should hire him if he drops the "k" from his last name. Then he could tell recruits "yeah, they named this conference after me"
