Awe Inspiring? This Illinois-born BG alum has only been to one Skull Session (September, 2003), but I didn't see anything that was that that different there from the pre-game concerts that college bands give at their respective schools across the country. It wasn't bad, but it certainly isn't unique.

The awe I speak of comes from the fact that more fans cram themselves into that arena than they do into the Doyt, and that is only for the band. No matter your affiliation, you have to appreciate that kind of support for music. Things like that give us hope that our art is not a dying one.

Call me cynical, but I have a feeling that the reason there is such a huge turnout has more to do it being 'Ohio State' than it does to do with supporting band, or music. Slap that name on anything, and instantly it the best thing under the sun....even if the product is less than stellar.

Yeah, no kidding Goofy, you could slap ohio state on Hillary Clinton, and she'd probably get a lot more votes then she would otherwise. It's sickening how people worship that school even though many have not attended it. Way to jump on the Bandwagon people and then jump off whenever they lose, such as the Ohio State / Florida National Championship Game...

The Falcon Marching Band is By Far THE BEST DAMN BAND IN THE LAND! (But keep in mind that I am saying that with my Orange and Brown glasses on.)

I went to the eye doctor today, and he said all I need is a minor correction, so minor that I don't need glasses. However I am always willing to wear the orange and brown glasses!
