That's actually pretty solid.

Though I still miss the bird.

I guess this also answers my post of "when do season tickets come out."

I did sign up for tickets this morning.

I echo the "not terrible" thought. Certainly not impressive, but I guess it will do.

Another new item on the website today.. a t-shirt contest!

I hope they come up with something good!

For some reason, I *LOVE* the "BG Warriors" theme they seem to be running with for the student section.

I think it's a ripoff of Buffalo's. The both feature the letter "B" in an interlocking design.

It's gay

It looks like the interlocking BG logo is pretty much here to stay on everything. I just hope they use the traditional bird as a secondary logo, I don't want to see it go away. I like the AA floor and wall the way it is. I really like the helmet logo, because you instantly recognize it's BG's helmet. To savvy college football fans, I'm sure the bird was recognizable, but I think the new logo takes that another step. I would've always liked the traditional logo on the helmet....because I like tradition and we've used it since the early 80s. But overall I think the design is an improvement. I think this helmet will look awesome with the brown unis, which I would like to see permanently as our home and away design. I think white on white with that design would look sweet.

Yuk.

Only fitting that we'll go with fake grass and get rid of the old logo in the same year, I suppose.

I'm sick. Take one of the most recognizable and unique logos in all of sports and replace it with letters. Unbelievable.

Just looking at that first page of bgsufalcons.com, how cool would it be to have Foward Falcons or Ay-Zig playing? Personally, if anyone else agrees with me on this then someone with a little more say than a college student like myself should email the guys who take care of that site and recommend that. But maybe that's just the FMB geek side of me coming out. 8)

Not a fan, but I'm sure it will grow on me with time.

Having a collection of MAC mini-helmets may start to get a little pricey if schools keep changing their helmets.

One of the most recognizable logos in all of sports? I like our logo and all, but I’m not sure it’s that recognizable. Be that as it may, the explanation of what our logo actually is has to be in the top three most frequent question I’ve ever been asked (especially when out of state) concerning BG, behind the location of BGSU (no, it’s not in Kentucky!) and why the “ugly" colors. I actually had someone tell me they thought our logo was Louisiana Tech’s “LT.” :purplex:

The only time we've ever used the interlocked "BG" on our helmets was in 1968 in Don Nehlen's first year as head coach. We've had the bird and Falcon head for many years, maybe the "BG" will do BG some good.
