Good night OSU.

Talk about the Buckeyes the Wolverines the Hilltoppers the Ducks the Beavers the Chanticleers... or anyone else who isn't BG or an opponent in this forum.

The better team won tonight in pretty decisive fashion.

See... I hate language like this. I think somebody mentioned it in another thread, but I don't care for the 'we' and 'you'. 'Ohio State' and 'Bowling Green' are fine. But imho, 'we' and 'you' are the badges of people who are overly invested in the teams they follow.

I think I'm the only person that posts on this board that can legitimately say I have a shot at going to the dance in some capacity. But even I don't use the term 'we' because I'm not out on the floor. I'm not the one killing myself in practice and the victories and defeats are not mine.

But I'd be lying if I said I would refuse the ring :)

Edit: I forgot about HoustonFalcon. He's got a legit shot at the dance, too. And more power to him if he makes it. And he's truly a 'we' because those victories and losses are his.

You can try to rub it in all that you want. I do not think you will see too many upset people.

I agree, being the runner up in one sport and essentially the runner in another is not too shabby. Yeah Florida does have their number but they have everyone elses too.

You are on a BGSU board, kindly blow off to another forum if you don't like the fact some of us enjoy a little trash talking in our own place.

His comment mainly comes from the amusing fact that twice in four months, Florida deals death to national title hopes.

To be fair, OSU was going to have to be perfect to win that game, they weren't, and Florida had been playing in the zone for the last couple of games. They were the better team, fair and square, so it isn't as if they utter choked, like the OSU football team did.

What we had Monday night was a school rich in college football history, tradition, winning, and championships throughout the years; that also happens to have had a pretty good conference championship caliber and nationally significant basketball team the last few seasons.

And the other team was Ohio State.
all bowling green

Congratulations to Ohio State for a great season, 35-4, Big Ten Champs. Congrats to Florida, 35-5, National Champs.

Go Falcon spring sports, go Reds, and may all of you get a hole in one this golf season.

Don't worry. When he takes the Kentucky job, you'll only have to listen to it for one round of the tourney, and he might not even get that pod of games.

Although I don't know if that would be better than getting to hear Gus Johnson and "BILLY! DONOVAN! ATE A! SANDWICH!"
"I don't believe I can name a coach, anywhere, anytime, anyhow, who did it better than Doyt Perry."

who is spinning? everyone agrees with what i have been saying. dont you feel like a jackass for trying to rub it in to people who are not upset and acknowledged Floridas greatness over the last 2 years in the big sports?

if you don't, you should because you look like a joke.

Did you know, when you press one of the two buttons marked "Shift" and then the first letter of the first word in a sentence, you "capitalize" that word, and adhere to one of many grammatical conventions.

Try it at home, and watch the magic happen!
