Ignore Button?

Post by Falcon30 »

GMBG2006 had a good idea that an ignore button could be added...is that possible?

Best ignore button you have is between your ears.

Yeah - and how is that workding for the 5-10 people who can't/ won't use that tool? is the board better because of it? Can the moderators make the board better with this?

What's the opposite of "if it ain't broke, don't fix it," because we need that here. It's broken. The solution is simple. The justification is obvious and easy.

Putting the problem on the shoulders of the posters isn't working...

just my humble opinion.

I love that ignore button. I use it now in the "Other Schools" forum anytime OSU is mentioned by anyone on this board. It really works!!!!!

Grant's not in favor of it, so there's no point rehashing all of this. If you and everybody else who keeps responding to him would just never respond to anything he posted ever again, he would go away. I promise.

I didn't know it had been suggested before...sorry i brought it up.

FWIW, if there were no guns, no one would get shot either.

With the way most everyone has been, maybe I should respond to every post he makes.

If you want to add an "ingore button" you can do so on your own within your browser. Google "phpbb ignore button" or something to that extent. It's not a function of the software nor is it something I want to do.

I'm a firm believer in personal responsibility. I give you the forums to collect and disseminate the information; how and what you do with it is your responsibility.

In that case you need the "Seek Offensive" button that I'm ALSO unwilling to install. ;-)
