Serious question. How many schools in Ohio have law programs?rocketfootball wrote:Toledo does have a very good law school. I'm sure this case now has the tacit attention of the NFL, which will be interested in knowing if any current and past UT players in the league knew/know this guy.
As for UT's law school, to be fair and honest, yes, they are improving the passage rate for the bar, they are better than the university as a whole. But it still draws snickers from my lawyer freind (who went to Dennison and UVa's Law school, and now works for Jones Day.) and her husband who Southern Miss/Pitt grad and lawyer.

That's OK. WE snicker at anybody who went to UVA. I mean what would MACMAN have to say about that Cavalier fellow? Unfortunately I think that Top Twenty thing was our engineering school, not our law school. Our law school is only the best in the state and our Medical School not even that. Engineering is really good though. And incidentally I am somewhat conversant with Billy Shakespeare and my old pal Siggy F. for the poster who impied UT grads didn't know those guys.NWLB wrote:I'm sure this case now has the tacit attention of the NFL, which will be interested in knowing if any current and past UT players in the league knew/know this guy.

I'll say this for what it is worth. If you work hard, you can get a fine education from most anyplace. And in reality I like making fun of UT more than taking its reputation seriously. Now if you are a slacker and get a degree from UT.......

For what it's worth, my sister graduated from UT's law school about 7 or 8 years ago and now she is one of the top contractual lawyers at the world headquarters for Sun Oil making a disgusting amount of money. It's actually pretty sickening to be honest.

Yeah, they didn't exactly redefiine "cool" did they? Martha Quinn was cute though.
At least Mojo Nixon thought so....

Unfortunately for Martha, the years haven't been too kind:
