Their board is quite ammusing. They can't handle anything posted by another teams fans. Not only do they remove everything, but they edit something else in its place. Talk about being thin skinned.
It really makes you appreciate this board and the job Grant does moderating.

I dunno, the board I am reading has fans saying something like:
They have nothing but good things to say about our team. At least, for the majority part on the board I was reading from that link.
Last week we beat ourselves. This BG, they beat us to death. I don't know how in the world they lost to Northern Ill. I like watching BG, just not against the Herd.
Bowling Green is without doubt the superior team.
Also, to all the Bowling Green fans who may read this board, your team is incredible. You beat us in every way today.
Aaaand, I'm done.Maybe guys we just lost to a pretty darn good team. Is that so hard to admit? That was one fantastic offense we witnessed out there today.

Yes, they do have their share of reasonable fans too, but it's things like this (read below) I have no respect for. You wouldn't see something like this on our board.
In all fairness, there were several herd fans taking the other perspective as well. They just seem to have a few more
and
posters (if you know, what, or who, i mean) than alot of other places. It seems that many of them ended up on our board.
So, yes, it looks like the majority of the fans on that board seem more than reasonable and fair, but the others...
That was a cheap shot, no doubt about it!

No it wasn't. That is the way we should be playing.
John Grace used to like people up like that. Larry McCoud did too.
Keys is one guy I like along with Goddard.
Kerys may have got us back in the game. Hopefully BGSU is worried about the guy that got smoke like a cheap cigar.
He may have single handily got us back in the game.

Welll...I like Keyes because he plays old school like football used to be played. He reminds me of Ronnie Lott or Bill Bates.
Cheap or not...they know where he is.

Curtis Keyes nor any of us who support him owes anyone an apology.

And by amusing, what I was referring to was the fact that they ban, and remove so many posts from, opposing fans. Harris4heisman tried to respond to the thread that I quoted above and had his post immediately removed and replaced with this:
Which is why I think Grant does such a great job. He doesn't remove every last little thing some other teams fan posts.

I really can't believe that one of their fans is blaming the loss on their cleats and field moisture.

Why does one team's defense and offense seem to slip and slide all around the field while the other seems completely sufficiently well-cleated?
I spent most of the game cursing the equipment manager.
Aghast, I decided to go look at just how much rain they must have had in Northeastern Ohio this past week... must've been somethin awful, don't you think?
Here's your answer: www.weather.com/activitie...rom=search
(Scroll down to 7-day trend and get your calculator out to do the math on that precipitation measurement.)
Verrrrry interressstinnnnnng.
It's not a movie. It's real people, 11 vs. 11, and it's just a basic principle of physics... you can't run and tackle and catch if you can't FIRST OF ALL stay on your feet.
And again... I ask, this time a little more frankly than before...
WHERE THE HELL DID ALL THAT MOISTURE ON THE FIELD COME FROM?
Apparently not from the sky.
Any ideas?
Blown coverages?
Go back and look at the tape and count how many times our guys simply took bad angles (in the first half especially) and you saw white shirts flailing with their arms at a receiver as he went by... out-and-out blown coverage might have occurred a handful of times in the game... otoh, what I'm talking about, you can look at practically EVERY positive play for BG and see someone in white sliding while someone in orange wasn't.
I agree that it's not really for Bobby to say it publicly... he has too much class for that.
But I'm a fan and I'm just reporting (a) what we all saw, and (b) how the weather was in NE Ohio this past week.
If that's classless, so be it... any classlessness I might exhibit in just saying that, though, seems to have been hugely trumped by those who controlled the field conditions at Doyt today.
But this one takes the cake...Give BG their props because they didn't need any help... they're obviously pretty good... but it was fairly clear to anyone watching that they got a little help today.
