Now if want to change our mascot to something els more suited to our region than a falcon I can see that...we could easily be the BG EAGLES, or the BG GEESE, or the BG SWAMPMEN, OR the BG DITCH DIGGERS, or the BG SWAMP RATS, or the BG INDIANS, or THE BG HAWKS, or the BG VULCHERS, or the BG pigons, or the BG BUCKS. THE BG ringnecks...or rednecks.

the new school.......storyTwo men were digging a ditch on a very hot day. One said to the other, "Why are we down in this hole digging a ditch when our boss is standing up there in the shade of a tree?" "I don't know," responded the other. "I'll ask him."

So he climbed out of the hole and went to his boss. "Why are we digging in the hot sun and you're standing in the shade?" "Intelligence," the boss said. "What do you mean, �intelligence'?"

The boss said, "Well, I'll show you. I'll put my hand on this tree and I want you to hit it with your fist as hard as you can." The ditch digger took a mighty swing and tried to hit the boss' hand. The boss removed his hand and the ditch digger hit the tree. The boss said, "That's intelligence!"

i like the ditch witch...its simple and heck the grounds crew could use it outside of games...sure a student or two could get mauled...the bunny most likely would not like it but that is marketing....just think a big inflatable ditch witch hand for game time. Fans could all bring leaf blowers and start them up to make noise at the games....but then again with a fake field we might as put in fake trees...maybe palm trees...or fake Christmas trees all lit up the band could play all christmass carols and our fight could be Auld Lang Syne

I hope in 20 years your son is complaining when we change from the 'gay' falcon. I hope he spouts non-sense about machinery, bunnies and christmas trees and spouts off about the proud 'gay' falcon tradition as we go to a holographic falcon logo or something like that.

I would like to see that.

I hope he talks about how the gay falcon compares to the Penn State Helmet and Touchdown Jesus.

Well...at least the kid gets to see his dad a lot.

Anyway...Macman is just another version of tekininininininni. He dithers on about this logo nonsense and any other subject that working a comb through his hair knocks loose in his brain without ever really explaining what his complaints are. The logo is gay? it looks like Miami's? The hockey team might be good next year....these are the ramblings of a mind completely unoccupied with the rigors of actual thought.

I agree on the field turf sentiment for baseball diamonds. Since baseball isn't typically played in the rain, it should have real grass if at all possible.

The new logo is gay. Gay is bad, and I dont care for it, more over the union of a man to man should be called a homage, woman to woman a lesbage and transgender to anyone a transage...any one of these should be allowed, in a church, court anywhere. I am not anti gay, nor am I homo phobic, i just dont believe the words marriage or wedding apply to anything but the union of a man to a woman. further because I dont I like homosexuality should not in anyway be considered to some kind of prejudice as I treat all people fairly. I dont like or agree with abortion, yet I support choice, because I know how i would choose and I see point in forcing my ideas upon others with the reguard.
the new logo blows donkies, its gay, and should be put back in the dusty closet from which it came.
I do hope my son goes to ND, because they will still be the Irish, most likely will not come with a new logo and value their tradition. on the other hand BGSU probably wont even be a consideration because he will likely want to attend a school with a D1 program.
now if he plays hockey he might play here for Scott as we will be the number one team in the nation!
