Last thing on this (i think)...

TG1996, I haven't posted on their board and I think you hit it right on the head why. As much as I want to, I just can't bring myself to do it.

As was mentioned before, most of their fans on that board do seem pretty ok. The trash talkers that dared to come over here can deal with it when and if they ever come back.

They probably won't be back. They are either out frolicking with barnyard animals or a family member.

We don't need to ban people here, we just abuse them with our superior wit and intelligence. It's much more fun to have a permanent record of each of our opponent's stupidity.

Visited Herd Nation for the first and last time a minute ago. When they declared themselves the Yankees of the MAC, I had to laugh. To be fair, as noted above, a number of them gave credit to our team for being excellent. We had a good day today, and we soundly beat them, when they were playing for a shot at a title. They are 5-5. We are 8-2. I'm glad they are leaving.

Civility is what I hope for and expect from our fans. It seemed in this thread like we were starting to "round up the posse" to head over there and rub their noses in it. We can do plenty of that here!

Herdnation welcomes those who can discuss football with some logical thought. Making your username as Marshallsucks, and posting Marshallsucks for fun...ehh...not quite mature. We enjoy discussing football with all those willing to actually discuss it, instead of only calling names.

Thanks! I think smack-talk is ok, I think criticism can be constructive. I've "cleaned up" a few things from time-to-time, but for the most part, when idiots come round and post something stupid, they're dealt with accordingly.

They leave KNOWING they're idiots. I think that's the best way to deal with the smack.

In response to this Marshall fans attack on my school: "how in the world can the mighty Marshall University get beat by 50 from a punny little MAC school? And you are gonna tell me there is nothing wrong, KEEP DREAMIN. I said 3 weeks ago when we were 5-0 in the mac that we are too complacent, and now look at us. this is an embarassment."

There was absolutely nothing warranting a banning in that post. I realize the Herd fans are upset and emotional right now, but jeez.

Best of all we met two good ole boys at Frickers. After downign 50 wings with two fellow BGSU alumni, they asked for us to "partake" with some majic stuff. We respectfully declined.

Funny, they thought it of been a close game. BG just beat the Terd in all aspects of the game.
