We're going with FieldTurf, but maybe not until next year

I'm sick of Ohio State doing everything they can to be like us. The jealousy amazes me.

It probably makes more sense for baseball, since they play in the lovely spring weather of northwest Ohio!!
I was just kidding. I saw a pot sitting on the stove and thought I should stir it ;)

As for FieldTurf at the baseball diamond, no way. As much as I hate that stuff for football, I REALLY hate it for baseball. Fake turf should be absolutely illegal for baseball diamonds. It changes the game in a BIG way, and it's NOT an improvement.
On that we agree...the fake stuff makes conditions less relevant in football. In baseball, it has traditionally become a variable unto itself.
It's the difference bewteen your brother in law coming over for dinner and bringing a sixer and your brother in law coming over for dinner and staying on your couch for 12 weeks.

Man...I don't even want to know what some of those stains are from...
It's not the fall that hurts...it's when you hit the ground.

I haven't been checking updated posts on this thread, so do you mean we are definitely getting fieldturf for this next football season?

Arguments about the merits of FieldTurf aside, it is fairly unnecessary for sports other than football. I've never seen a baseball game allowed to be played in conditions like the Miami game, and even in the worst of baseball conditions, a field will not take the caliber beating that football fields do because of the nature of the sports.
Finally a senior!

You can't see it on the Sebo cam, but the north endzone and out to about the 10 yardline have already been stripped and the turf loaded on the truck. I drove by about 1pm this afternoon.

North endzone? Or south? The north still looks awfully green through the raindrops...

I have put RF in the same category with a few others and don't bother to read his posts anymore.

I always get them confused, too. Don't know why, it seems like such a simple thing to remember.

Now that there is a very large building at one end, maybe it will be easier to differentiate!

I had one of my operatives run a recon mission out to the stadium, and the report I recieved, the field has not been touched.
